International Shipping Carriers
What is the cheapest way to ship your package you asked? Well, FedEx, DHL and UPS promise certain benefits in exchange for their service fees. All provide point-by-point tracking and on time delivery money-back guarantees for their international shipping services. The only Postal Service option that includes those perks is the most expensive, Express Mail, which offers overnight delivery to most domestic locales but don’t get your hopes up, their express international service is not even in the same league. The Post Office promises 8 day delivery to Saudi Arabia for example and from our experience, you will be lucky to have it delivered in 6 weeks! Ask for your money back due to their service failure and you are in for a show and dance!
Don’t expect a refund if the weather outside is frightful, for example, or if it’s too close to Christmas. FedEx, DHL and UPS are suspending their guarantees for ground delivery beginning on Dec. 11. They will still cover faster, pricier deliveries that arrive even one minute late through Dec. 18, when their guarantees will kick in only for delays of more than 90 minutes. So to answer your question:
[alert type=”alert-warning” close=”no”]The cheapest shipping method overall is The Post Office service. But be warned that the reliability and on time delivery is in single digits compared to the rest of carriers. You will get what you pay for.[/alert]
Being in this business for over a decade, we feel comfortable making this statement, if your package is time sensitive and important, use DHL service, they have the fastest network to Europe, Asia and Africa. For Packages going to Canada, use FedEx and UPS International Ground service, it is much cheaper and packages are delivered 3 to 5 Business days depending on custom clearance. For large bulky items like crates, containers, and cars we recommend Ocean and Air cargo where you can save up to 60% off FedEx and DHL rates. Delivery of ocean cargo can take up to 6 weeks depending on the maritime transit time and frequency of shipping.[coupon couponid=”4123″ coupon_align=”cctor_alignright” name=”Shipping Coupon Discount”]

I was at your Neighborhood Parcel in Lowell two months ago to ship my Passport for renewal to Kenya and DHL rate was over $100, I made the decision to go to the local Post Office instead to save money. A decision that I later regretted; I wish I listened to you because the Express Mail was supposed to arrive to Kenya in 8 Days according to the USPS clerk but months later I realized that the mail was complete loss and nobody could help me! I am emailing you this letter to share it with my other Kenyan friends or anyone thinking of using any other service than DHL. my advice don’t do it, the savings are not worth it! I have cumulated $500 in total cost to replace my passport..
